Season 3 features a diverse mix of artists performing acoustic tracks, full band rock, poetry and various electronic tracks. Most of the tracks were written and recorded specifically for Wholesome Content and a greater focus was placed on the songwriting and production processes, which took place over several studio sessions.

Ricki’s intention with these studio sessions was to create an environment where artists felt comfortable exploring new musical ideas and to help them bring their visions to life (while still figuring out a bunch of the process himself). The involvement of Nic Wood (from Grass Stains) on mixing and production was a game changer and helped take these tracks to the next level, especially through the use of programmed drums.
